Elke geleider is verbonden met een elektrode.&nbsp; De kabel bestaat uit een&nbsp; inleidings kabel (typisch rond de 100-200 meter) met daarna de sectie met elektrodes. De elektrodes zijn geplaatst in 13 groepen van 2 elektrodes. Binnen een groep van twee elektrodes is de afstand tussen elektrodes vijftien tot&nbsp; dertig centimeters. Tussen elke groep is de afstand typisch tussen de drie en vijf meter, en de afstand tussen de diepste en ondiepste elektrode is&nbsp; dus meestal tussen de veertig en zestig meters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The electrodes on the cables are numbered from 1 to 26. The convention is that the deepest electrode is number 1, and the shallowest electrode is number 26. The location of this zone is determined during the drilling campaign. Typically, a number of screened boreholes are installed adjacent to the cable.
